Walking, Swimming, and Biking!

We have been staying very active this summer. Our little cutie is a walker!!! She is definitely walking more than crawling these days. It just seems like she is always wandering around the room and in and out of doorways, going from one place to the next on those little legs. It is the cutest thing. She loves to move her arms around as she goes - hitting her chest, clapping her hands, pumping her arms, all while she is talking away in her little language. We do know she has at least a 6 word vocabulary...Dada, Momma, Hi, Bye Bye, and her own version of Maya and Bubbles. She LOVES to say hi and bye bye as she does her little hand wave. The other day we were driving by a huge Paul Bunyan statue and Hannah was trying to say hi to him as well as the man on a motorcycle beside us!! She is hilarious. Speaking of hilarious, how can you not smile when you see her cute belly in the pic below!

Looking at her own shadow!
We spent some time at Nate's parents' lake cottage over Memorial Day Weekend. Hannah had a great time on the boat ride ( she actually fell asleep) and swimming with Papa Jack. As you can see from her shriveled feet below, she was swimming for quite awhile!

While at the lake, we also celebrated Great Grandma Clark's 80th birthday. Below is Hannah with some of her cousins!

Finally...biking. Nate found a good deal on a bike trailer which we have been getting good use out of. We are enjoying taking some family bike rides together.

Enjoy the sun and have a great week!

Hannah = BIG SIS

We are excited to announce that Hannah is going to be a BIG SISTER! Clark Baby #2 is expected to arrive some time around December 5th. We are very very excited about becoming a family of four. We have heard the heartbeat of our "Little Baby" twice now, which is always such an amazing experience. Our two kiddos will be about 19 months apart, which will keep us extra busy but I can only imagine the extra amount of love and joy we will experience. The second time around, I am again LOVING being pregnant, minus a few nausea spells and the overwhelming tiredness! As we continue to thoroughly enjoy watching Hannah grow and change all the time, we feel amazingly blessed to experience the whole process again with the little one growing inside of me. Yay!!!

Taking 1st Steps

Hannah continues to learn and like new things as she turns 13 months this weekend. She is still making her way around by crawling and cruising furniture and walls, but she is taking a few steps on her own now. Below is a short video of her walking. I love how proud and stunned she is!!! Check it out!

One of her new fascinations is her baby doll. My Aunt Susie and Cousin Hannah had gotten it for her before she was even born, but she just now started to notice it. She is very sweet with the doll, playing with her daily. It is so cute to me.

Kisses and hugs for baby doll...

The baby has a magnetic pacifier that she love to take off and put back on.

We didn't get to actually spend time with Grandma Ringger over Mother's Day, so we spent a day with her this past week along with the other cousins.

Hannah loves being outside, but for some reason she is somewhat scared of the grass. She is afraid to move in the grass and basically sits in one position until we move her or put her on the pavement. It is pretty hilarious. Below Nate was working out in the yard and decided to stick her in a box...haha.

Finally, she is sneaking off everywhere and getting into everything. Below she was looking pretty guilty, and decided to share the dog food with me to make up for it!

Mother's Day and More

Let me just say I LOVE being a Mom. I had a great Mother's Day with family, but my favorite part was the 1-1 time I had with my sweet 1 year old at bed time. As we were cuddling together on the rocking chair, I had myself a good happy cry as I thought about the great joy she brings me every day. Her little blue eyes looking up at reminds me how blessed I am to be a mom. Her blooming personality just makes us laugh, too. I can't get enough of her own little language as she constantly babbles and changes the expressions of her face. She is trying to say a lot of words which is fun. Many are not very clear yet, but she is communicating!

Above with Maggie and her Clark cousins on Mother's Day.

Swimming...

Swimming scowl... :)

Going off the diving board at swim lessons!

Sitting at her big girl table and chairs that Papa Jack and Maggie got her for her birthday.

Happy Girl!

Walking with her new bike from Grandma and PaPa Ringger for her birthday! She loves to walk with or around anything she can get to. She is still not brave enough to take steps without any help, but her balance is improving and can stand for multiple seconds on her own now.

Finally, she sneaks off to Maya's crate as often as she can!!! Speaking of Maya, she got loose off her chain for about 5 hours the other day. Hannah and I spent many hours pushing the stroller around outside calling her name. I would yell for Maya and clap, then Hannah would do the same. She is really into copying what we do...very cute. Thankfully Hannah likes being outside and thankfully we found Maya!!!
