Pink or Blue???

BLUE!!!!

We are so excited to be having a little boy! The ultrasound went great yesterday. Our little guy got an A+ for his health and development which we are so thankful for. I have been feeling him kick the past week or so...something I LOVE about pregnancy!! He was moving a lot during the ultrasound so that was fun to see. We had our family over after the ultrasound to "reveal" what we were having by pulling out the little football outfit (Nate is a football coach). It was a great party and we feel very thankful for all the support and love from our families! You can't tell by the pic, but Hannah really is excited to have a brother, too. :)

4th of July with the Clarks

Hannah was all decked out in red, white, and blue as we celebrated the 4th of July with the Clark side this year. Before we headed up to the lake cottage, Nate and I took Hannah to our local Yorktown festival. We had to stop at the swings, which Hannah loves, and take a walk on the big bridge!

Hannah's new accomplishment this week has been walking backwards. It is very cute.

We spent most of the 4th up at the Clark lake cottage. We always have such a wonderful time up there...so relaxing, fun time with family, and lots of sun. Both sets of grandparents were up for a day, so Hannah got lots of love and attention from her favorite people. She now gets excited and smiles and squeals when we tell her we are going to see Papa/Maggie/Grandma/PawPaw.
I love that she recognizes them, even by their names.
She is also saying "Pa-Pa" now, so that is exciting!

Below is Hannah playing with a couple of her cousins, Lilly and Emery.

The whole family was up, which was so much fun. All 5 Clark sons, 5 wives, 5 grandkids, and proud Papa Jack and Maggie (plus Maya, haha)! Such a great family!

Papa Jack with Hannah and Cousin Elena...they spent a lot of time in his arms!

Finally, a pic of all the grandkids. I think it will be many years until we get a shot of all the kids looking at the camera with smiles :) How cute are they all!!!!

Glamping with the Ringgers

The Ringger side of the family started a tradition a few years ago to take a camping trip in the summer. We used to do the tent thing, but with little ones now, we have progressed into a glamping trip...glamorous camping :) We stayed in a really nice air conditioned cabin with a lake behind us, a big open field around us, pool and park within walking distance...it was great. We had so much fun. Above is Hannah with her two cousins, Jed and Josiah.

Reading books (and bothering cousin Jed) with Grandma...

Below, all the grandkids with Grandma and PaPa

Hannah was so happy to spend lots of time being held by PaPa and Grandma!!!

She is happy with Daddy too!! :)

Always walking around...

Our family of three (and a little one on the way!)

Our attempt at a hike...we had quite the group walking around. We later made it to this pool!

Playing outside...

Finally, swimming! It was a great trip!

What Hannah Likes

We have been having a great summer so far! We have been staying busy, thus the lack of blog posts in the last couple of weeks! The baby in my belly is doing great. We went to the doctor today and I am measuring right at 17 weeks and the heartbeat was at 150. We have our ultrasound in a month!!! Our big baby makes us laugh every day and we are loving all the time we both get to spend with Hannah during the summer. The other day when I picked her up from the church nursery, the worker told me "She is the funniest baby!" We agree...she has quite the personality. Above is Hannah with her new "ball sprinkler" that Uncle Jeff & Aunt Tiff got her for her birthday. At first she didn't want to get to close, but she ended up soaking wet and really enjoying it. She really likes being outside, regardless of what she is doing!!!
She uses her pointer finger to do everything!! She has definitely learned to point to what she WANTS!

Above...she loves drinking out of a straw.

Below...instead of throwing her up in the air, Nate now lets her fall backwards in his arms. She loves it!

She like to lounge on the couch! Usually she is on the go, but once in awhile she likes to take a break and lean back on the couch with us and relax.

Next, she likes to play on the bed. Below are some pics when she was hiding in our big comforter! Usually, she likes to try and bounce on the bed. In her crib, she has the balance to stand and walk around on the mattress, which she chose to do the other day (as well as read books) instead of taking her nap! She is a great sleeper usually though, which we are thankful for!

Finally, she likes to carry around as many things as she can fit in her arms! She usually has at least 1 thing in each hand as she strolls around the house. She also loves to take all those things and put them inside various containers...cabinets, candles, wipes containers, bags. It is very cute. We are figuring out her favorite hiding places :)

Have a great day!

Walking, Swimming, and Biking!

We have been staying very active this summer. Our little cutie is a walker!!! She is definitely walking more than crawling these days. It just seems like she is always wandering around the room and in and out of doorways, going from one place to the next on those little legs. It is the cutest thing. She loves to move her arms around as she goes - hitting her chest, clapping her hands, pumping her arms, all while she is talking away in her little language. We do know she has at least a 6 word vocabulary...Dada, Momma, Hi, Bye Bye, and her own version of Maya and Bubbles. She LOVES to say hi and bye bye as she does her little hand wave. The other day we were driving by a huge Paul Bunyan statue and Hannah was trying to say hi to him as well as the man on a motorcycle beside us!! She is hilarious. Speaking of hilarious, how can you not smile when you see her cute belly in the pic below!

Looking at her own shadow!
We spent some time at Nate's parents' lake cottage over Memorial Day Weekend. Hannah had a great time on the boat ride ( she actually fell asleep) and swimming with Papa Jack. As you can see from her shriveled feet below, she was swimming for quite awhile!

While at the lake, we also celebrated Great Grandma Clark's 80th birthday. Below is Hannah with some of her cousins!

Finally...biking. Nate found a good deal on a bike trailer which we have been getting good use out of. We are enjoying taking some family bike rides together.

Enjoy the sun and have a great week!

Hannah = BIG SIS

We are excited to announce that Hannah is going to be a BIG SISTER! Clark Baby #2 is expected to arrive some time around December 5th. We are very very excited about becoming a family of four. We have heard the heartbeat of our "Little Baby" twice now, which is always such an amazing experience. Our two kiddos will be about 19 months apart, which will keep us extra busy but I can only imagine the extra amount of love and joy we will experience. The second time around, I am again LOVING being pregnant, minus a few nausea spells and the overwhelming tiredness! As we continue to thoroughly enjoy watching Hannah grow and change all the time, we feel amazingly blessed to experience the whole process again with the little one growing inside of me. Yay!!!
