Our family photo on Christmas Eve. Hannah looked adorable in her red dress and boots! Thanks to Jack and Leslie for the dress!
Papa Jack and Maggie (Leslie) came over for Christmas Eve!
Hannah had so much fun with them!
Hannah on Christmas morning! I think she is happy about receiving her OWN remote control from Santa.
Opening her stocking
Eating her new princess nightlight!
Playing with the bubbles she got in her stocking!
Christmas at the Clark house! So much fun! I think it is cute how Hannah is the only one looking up at Nate taking the picture! She is on the floor on the rug.
Looking at her new book
All the Clark Grandbabies! Don't they look adorable in their matching pjs!
Grandkids with the Grandparents! Oldest to youngest starting on the right with Emery (2), Hannah (8 mo), Lillian (3 mo), Elena (2 mo)!
Last picture of the night. Can you tell the babies had had enough?!!
We have had a whirlwind of traveling the past week, going to Illinois to visit my Witzig and Ringger family and then up to Leo to be with the Clarks. It was so much fun and Hannah was a trooper through all the traveling. On our trip from Illinois to Leo, we had bad weather and traffic so we spent about 8 hours in the car. By the end of the trip I was shoveling "puffs" into Hannah's mouth to keep her happy! Christmas was so much fun with her this year. Thanks for all the wonderful gifts from family. She has lots to read, wear, and play with!
We celebrated our first Christmas this past weekend with my side of the family (The Ringgers). We had such a wonderful time! I couldn't be more thankful for my parents, sisters, nephew, and brother-in-laws. We had lots of laughs and great food. It was so fun to watch Hannah open her gifts and stocking. I think I was more excited than she was.
My sister Allison (Auntie) and my Mom giving Hannah her night time bottle! She is sleeping at least 12 hours a night, sometimes 13 now. That is super nice for Nate and I!
Sweet Hannah and Mommy! This little girl makes me so happy!
Hannah and my nephew Jed. Hannah was really trying to talk to Jed while they were together. It was so cute.
Hannah opening her gifts!
My oldest sister Amy and her husband Jon!
My sister Allison and her husband Paul!
Hannah and Jed on Grandma and Grandpa Ringger's lap! Below is Hannah with my youngest sister Lindsey! She had so much fun getting passed around to everyone!
This past week, Hannah added ba bas and da das to her vocabulary!! It is a nice change from her high pitch squeals. They are the sweetest little sounds. I wish they would be ma mas, but I know that will be coming soon! We went to our story time at the library this morning and she was just talking it up during the music part. She melts my heart! She continues to love to eat and has completed all the fruits and vegetables now (I think!) Papa Jack said he has never seen a baby so excited about eating. You can tell when she is hungry because she starts to move her mouth like she is chewing. So cute! I can't believe she is going to be 8 months next week. Our baby is growing up so fast! Above is Hannah in her new winter coat my parents got her for Christmas. As you can see, she couldn't move her arms...hilarious. We realized that the coat was actually an 18 month coat instead of a 12 month like we wanted. Hopefully she can wear it again next winter!
Hannan and Maya for their 7 month photo! I think they are ready for Christmas.
I think this picture is so sweet
So I guess while I was making dinner, Nate was playing Peek-a-boo with Hannah with this huge blanket. From the picture below, I would say she was enjoying it. She learned this huge, goofy, teeth-showing smile this past week as well.
I love Christmas and all the decorating, shopping, and celebrating that comes with it. It has been fun to see what Hannah thinks of it all. I think she mainly just wants to put everything in her mouth, including the ornaments, tree, and her stocking! The top picture is a new outfit from my parents for Christmas. The red boots are from my sister Allison. She looks so wintery and festive. I can't get enough of her smile! The above picture was taken when we were picking out our Christmas tree. It is always such a fun experience. We got a bigger tree than our tree stand can hold though, so it has fallen down a couple of times. We now have 4 magazines underneath the tree skirt to keep it balanced!!!
Our local library had a visit from Santa so we took her to get a pic with him. Hannah did pretty well on his lap for about 10 seconds and then it turned into crying.
Hannah's first ornament...a cutesy "H"! Thankfully Hannah isn't crawling yet so she can't get to the tree unless we put her right by it. I have a feeling she would be pulling it over if she could get there. This girl hates to be on her belly. She will roll right to her back as soon as we put her on her belly. She is doing such a great job sitting up and reaching though :)
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family. We went to the Clark side for Thanksgiving Day. It is always a great time of being with lots of family and eating lots of food. I think there were 5 corn casseroles, which gives you a glimpse of the amount of food that was available and the amount of people that attended! On Sunday we went to my parents house for our Ringger Thanksgiving and to watch the Colts win!! In the picture above, Hannah is wearing her "turkey" clippie. I got it from my church friend who makes bows (Honey Pie Accessories). She had just enough hair to hold it in!
Hannah with Grandma and Grandpa Ringger at our Sunday Thanksgiving!
With Auntie Allison- she got to see her a lot because Allison is married to Nate's cousin. She was at the Clark Thanksgiving as well.
All of the grandbabies on the Clark side. (left-right...Kristin with baby Lilly (3mo), Casie with baby Elena ( 6 weeks), Emery (2 yrs), GrammyMaggy with Hannah (7 mo), Me )
Hannah was worn out from all the people at Thanksgiving! Here she is after falling asleep on Papa Jack's shoulder!
And finally, Jed is on his way to give Hannah a Thanksgiving kiss :)
What a blessed life we have. We have much to be thankful for!
