Getting so BIG!!!

 Our little cuties...

Hannah and Seth are just growing up so fast. Hannah will be 2 in a couple of months and Seth is already almost 3 months old!  I could not be more thankful to get to be full time Mom to these two sweethearts.  Hannah is always making me smile with her fun personality, sweet little voice and belly laugh, and animated expressions. Seth is always making me ooh and ahh over his precious coos, big grin, and his little cuddly body. We are blessed!
2.5 months
I can't get enough of Seth's smile.  One thing I love that he has been doing every once in awhile lately is  stop eating and just look up at me and smile.  It melts my heart.  (This adorable tie shirt is made by my friend over at Honey Pie Accessories  Check her out!)
Not only do Nate and I love little Seth, but so does his Big Sister!  Above she is playing "peek-a-boo" with him.  She is always asking where "Baby Seth" is and even offers her blankie to him when he is crying.   Lately she has been asking me to put him in the swing, which he doesn't really love, but she loves to see him in there! Not sure why, but I think it is cute.

Hannah and Daddy

Hannah watching a video on the ipod touch. We have a piano app on it and she gets a kick out of having Seth play it.  She will take his fingers and have him tap the screen to play the piano.  She loves it!

Hannah also likes to tickle Seth.  He is such a good sport with all that she does to him!

2.5 months- so cute

Cold Weather, Coos, and Cubbie-Cubbies

We have had some crazy winter weather, which allowed us down time at the house and play time in the snow!   Although Hannah doesn't want to get out and really touch the snow, she does enjoy sitting in the sled and zooming down the hill!  I love how cute she looks all bundled up in her snow suit!  Below you will see a picture of Seth all cozy and warm in his carseat while Hannah was sledding at the park.  Maggie (Grandma Clark) bought him the most adorable winter hat and I can't help but smile when I see him in it!

Seth all snuggled up while his sister sleds!  Seriously, look at him in that hat!

2 months-  Loves Daddy

Besides getting some fresh (cold!) air, here are a few new things with the kids...

Hannah:  She has discovered "Cubbie-Cubbies" (translation- teletubbies) and is asking to watch "dvds" and the videos often!  She also asks to play "Wii"  (as she moves her arms around like she is playing the video game) and wants the "i-touch" (Nate's I-pod touch!)  She continues to love technology :)  I crack up at her little language and the way she says words.  She says a lot of words very clearly, but often I feel like that Mom who knows what their kid is saying but other people don't!  Here are some other examples...
book- "poot",  monkey-  "mee-o",  piano-  "pe-o",  penguin-  "pop-pop-pop" (this  sound goes with her adorable "penguin walk" she made up),  turkey sound-  "gob-ee, gob-ee, gob-ee",  elmo-  "elma",  blankie-  "bobby",  color-  "co-be",  Maggie- "Gee"

Besides her developing language, she also loves reading her Bible Story book and has learned the names of David, Daniel, Jonah, Noah, and Jesus!  When she hears or says "Jesus" she folds her hands to pray and almost always wants to pray for "Papa"!  It is very sweet.  She likes to build blocks and then knock them down, loves her shoes, and likes to sniff Seth to see if he pooped.  I wonder where she learned that?!  : )

Seth:  already 2 months old, gives us lots of sweet coos and smiles,  continues to be laid back and a content little guy,  likes to look at lights, if you put him up on your shoulder he will lift his head off and try to look around,  has a bad cough that breaks my heart, loves his paci, and loves to be held

Hannah and Seth (20 months and 7 weeks)

There is something so sweet about seeing our two kids together.  Hannah really likes holding Seth, he doesn't seem to mind it, and I think it is just adorable. She usually asks to hold him at least once a day.

A few new things each of them are doing...

Hannah...speaking in a lot of phrases and saying new words all the time, calls out our names when she wakes up from her naps,  her favorite thing to do is definitely still play with her babydolls, says and signs "more" all the time, she loves going outside to play but doesn't really like the snow, & she loves watching Elmo and animal videos on YouTube!

Seth...smiling, making eye contact, locks his legs and stands when we try to make him sit up to burp, loves to be held while we bounce on the exercise ball, likes to be all wrapped up in blankets, sweet as can be!

Below are a lot of pictures of the two of them!

 1st smiles- around 6 weeks

7 weeks

How cute is this face?!  :)

Seth has gone 8 hours at night 1 time so far!  Usually he has a 5-6 hour stretch.

Hannah likes to help entertain Seth while I change his diaper

Hannah loves to empty out Seth's diaper container!!!  She is also really good at emptying out her sock bin, pants drawer, and Daddy's wallet!!!

She loves ringing the doorbell

Tummy time!  Have I mentioned that Seth rolled over when he was 13 days old!  He has been doing it ever since!

Grandma Ringger with Seth

Hannah likes to sit behind this curtain and play peek-a-boo

She loves putting socks on her hands.  For awhile, she would always have her sock on her hand when we would come and get her after her naps!

Finally, our little newborn photo shoot we did at home!

Christmas 2010

We had a fabulous Christmas with our two little ones. I have always loved Christmas, but it is even more joyous with Hannah and Seth.  Hannah really loved all the Christmas decorations and opening gifts this year and Seth slept through most of it all :) Everytime Hannah opened a present, she would squeal in delight before she even saw what was in it.   We traveled to Leo for the Clark Christmas, Indy for the Ringger Christmas, home for Christmas Eve, and Illinois for extended family Christmas.  Here are a lot of pics to document it all...
