Lake Cottage

Our kids love going to the lake cottage.  Nate's parents own it, and we are so blessed to be able to go up there and enjoy it!  Not much makes them happier then waking up at the lake and running outside to see the water!  Hannah also likes to see the stars at night when she is at the lake. The first night we were there, she was having trouble falling asleep and asked to see the stars.  We told her no, but a few minutes later she was singing "Twinkle Twinkle" as loud as she could from her bed.  Needless to say, her sweet song softened our hearts and she got to see the stars that night :)  We are trying to start a tradition of going up for our own little family vacation for a few days in the summer.  It is filled with lots of swimming, boat rides, playing, and relaxing!

Muscles!

Every day Hannah wanted to fill up the little pool with water all by herself!

Hannah was happy to drive the boat

Ice cream with Papa Jack and Maggie!
Papa Jack and Maggie came up to spend time with us!

Cousins Emery and Elena were able to be up for a little bit one day to play!

Seth really hates diaper changes and makes them very difficult to do, but for some reason this cup kept him occupied all week during changes! Ha!

Glamping 2012

Every summer the Ringger side takes our annual "glamping" (glamorous camping) trip. I look forward to it every summer, and I have a feeling our kids will too.   We do all the fun camping things like eating food by the fire, hikes, swimming, bocce ball, games, but we have the luxury of air conditioning, beds, and showers :)  We have a really great time.  The kids had a blast with their cousins. It is cute to see how much they all love to play together. These pics are way overdue since we went in the beginning of the summer, but better ate than never, right!
The whole group!

Bubbles!

The kids loved running in circles on this deck

We always have a guys vs girls bocce tourney

Seth likes to smell flowers and candles and then immediately says "Mmmm"

Our dare devil! He gives us lots of laughs

As sweet as her smile
The next few pics are a sequence of shots taken of Hannah and Jed and their funny faces!

Such a great trip!  We are blessed with a wonderful family!

Playing Catch Up

Wow, we are way behind in blog posts and pictures. For good reason though...we moved!  We are so happy to be in our new home.  The kids have adjusted well and really love having a toy room and their rooms upstairs!  Here are a ton of pics from the last couple of months.  They start and end with zoo pics and the middle has pics of our daily life (not sure how they got mixed up!)  We are very blessed and have so much fun!

We have been to the Indy and Ft. Wayne zoos this summer.  The pics are with my sisters, nephews, and Mom...
Hannah "racing a Cheetah".  She started out happy and so brave, and ended the race crying!

 Seth's impression of an elephant...

Onto daily life pics:

Seth kissing Maya...
 We love bubbles...
Seth is almost always happy, but he definitely knows what he wants...
This kid is getting into everything.  I heard him yelling "stuck" out in the garage!!!!
Hannah still loves her babydolls...
Seth trying to do somersaults. He can actually do them sometimes which is pretty hilarious.
Now that Hannah is 3, she can chew gum!  She LOVES it!
Out of control dishwashing. Thank you Hannah!

This kid really really loves books.

She loves to "shop", aka fill bags with stuff around the house and carry them around.

 Back to the zoo:

Mother's Day 2012

I really do LOVE being a mom...not much makes me happier.  With their sweet personalities and my wonderful supportive husband, I feel very very blessed.  I had a great Mother's Day, beginning with breakfast in bed, gifts, and flowers Hannah picked out of our yard :)  Hannah and Seth came in with the food singing a Mother's Day song Hannah made up, and then proceeded to eat all of my breakfast for me, ha!  After church, we went and took pics of the kids.  It was the best gift Nate, Hannah, and Seth could give me...patience from Nate to take a million pics and hope a few turn out, and smiles from the kids!
