Pictures of the Kids

giving hugs to Seth
Hannah and Seth...can't get enough of our two sweeties!
Hannah is going to be 2 next month and Seth is almost 4 months old...I can't believe it!

I asked Hannah to give Seth his paci when he was a little fussy.  I looked over a minute later and she had brought him all these blankets plus a bunch of toys (she kept bringing them to him after I took this picture!)  She is such a sweet helpful sister.

Hannah is really into coloring books and crayons

hugs for Maya this time :)

Happy Seth after his nighttime bottle!

Mommy and Seth...he is getting so big!

Walking at the park!  Hannah loves to say "I run" and "I walk".  She also is really into throwing sticks in the water and off the bridge at the park.  Last fall she loved to pick up acorns at the park...now it is sticks, ha!

Maya's new sleeping spot!  I think she is trying to hide from Hannah but the problem is she likes to hide under there too!

3.5 months old
I LOVE these pics of Seth! Seriously...how can he be any cuter!

Hannah is starting to help me in the kitchen!  This day we were making muffins, which she calls "pops" for some reason?! She is hilarious!

Memories

Here are some new pictures and fun things the kids are up to...

Above and below- bath time!  Below is Hannah and Seth's first bath together.
Hannah enjoyed putting bubbles on Seth :)
Hannah LOVES reading books aloud to herself.

Me with my 2 babies!  I love having them both in my arms at the same time!

Hannah is really good at sorting out our silverware from the dishwasher.  It is her first chore, and she thinks it is fun!

Happy little guy during the day...not quite as happy at night. He was doing a great job sleeping but we have gotten into a bad slump of waking up a lot!  He is just too adorable though.  I can't get enough of his smile.  He started a little giggle this week that melts my heart.

They don't look very happy in this picture, but they really do love each other.  Seth watches Hannah when she is nearby and gives her a lot of smiles.  I love when I hear Hannah saying "goo-goo" to Seth. She really is such a great big sister.

We have entered the world of play-dough!

The other day I was watching Biggest Loser and he was straining his neck to watch the TV!  He loves lights so I am guessing he likes all the flashing.

Seth eyes have turned very blue and his eyelashes are getting so long...so handsome.  He is our little "praying boy".  He usually has his hands together like this when he is sitting up.
I  like to use this blog for a memory book and plan on printing it out.  So, a few more things I don't want to forget about our Cuties.

Hannah-
1.She doesn't understand that pictures in books cannot come off the pages!  She scrapes her little finger on pictures hoping they will become real!
2. She will randomly think of her grandparents, says one of their names and then says "up" out loud as she raises her hands in the air.  She is wishing they were there to pick her up...how sweet.
3. We got a new car and she lets us know she wants to ride in the Prius. I think it is hilarious that is one of her new words among many other words she is learning every day.  She also likes to repeat the last word we say in a sentence.
4. Some of her new sentences this week..."How are you?", "Thank you Mommy", and "Excuse me".
5. When we ask her to say Happy Birthday, she consistently says "Happy Cake"!
6. She loves the nursery rhyme Hickory Dickory Dock.
7. She had a chance to pet a snake at Nate's school Fun Fair.  Instead of touching it she grabbed a hold of it and Nate had to pry her hand off!!! AH!

Seth-
1.  Blowing bubbles and drooling like crazy
2.  Usually starts cooing as soon as we lay him on the changing table
3. Starting to like his blankie!

Have a great week!

Bumbo Time!

A few pics and a few new things going on around here...

Seth is 3 months old today!  He is also strong enough to sit in the bumbo seat.  He loves it in there and it is nice for us to have somewhere else to sit him now!  He just looks so cute sitting up in it.  Hannah loves him in there and is always asking if he can sit in the "bum-bum" , as she calls it!

I love this pic of my 2 favorite men!  Most people think Seth looks a lot like Nate!  I agree!

With the weather getting a little nicer lately, we went for our 1st walk in the double stroller!!!  I loved it!  I felt so proud pushing BOTH of my babies!

This is one of Hannah's new favorite snacks...dipping graham crackers in milk.  She often asks if she can "dip"!!  She also graduated from her high chair into her booster seat at the table.  She is such a big girl!!

Tummy time
Seth tolerates tummy time, but he really loves to lay on his back, hit the toys with his hands, and STARE at the flashing star light that hangs above him on his playmat!!

A few things about the kids...
Hannah is really really into puppies right now. At the library they have a dog statue and Hannah LOVES it!  She sat and read it books for at least 30 minutes the other day and was continually asking for treats and bones to give it.  It was really cute.  Reading books is definitely one of her favorite things to do right now.  She always wants to read books first thing when she wakes up and spends a lot of time just "reading" out loud on her own.  Her favorite books right now are the "Spot" dog books.  She is also really into looking at pictures of family members and saying all of their names.  Throughout the day she will think of someone in our family and just start saying their names...it is sweet.  I could go on and on with Hannah stories. She is just doing so many things all the time!  Seth is doing well too.  Staying awake and alert a good portion of the day with lots of smiles on his face. We couldn't be more thankful.

Getting so BIG!!!

 Our little cuties...

Hannah and Seth are just growing up so fast. Hannah will be 2 in a couple of months and Seth is already almost 3 months old!  I could not be more thankful to get to be full time Mom to these two sweethearts.  Hannah is always making me smile with her fun personality, sweet little voice and belly laugh, and animated expressions. Seth is always making me ooh and ahh over his precious coos, big grin, and his little cuddly body. We are blessed!
2.5 months
I can't get enough of Seth's smile.  One thing I love that he has been doing every once in awhile lately is  stop eating and just look up at me and smile.  It melts my heart.  (This adorable tie shirt is made by my friend over at Honey Pie Accessories  Check her out!)
Not only do Nate and I love little Seth, but so does his Big Sister!  Above she is playing "peek-a-boo" with him.  She is always asking where "Baby Seth" is and even offers her blankie to him when he is crying.   Lately she has been asking me to put him in the swing, which he doesn't really love, but she loves to see him in there! Not sure why, but I think it is cute.

Hannah and Daddy

Hannah watching a video on the ipod touch. We have a piano app on it and she gets a kick out of having Seth play it.  She will take his fingers and have him tap the screen to play the piano.  She loves it!

Hannah also likes to tickle Seth.  He is such a good sport with all that she does to him!

2.5 months- so cute

Cold Weather, Coos, and Cubbie-Cubbies

We have had some crazy winter weather, which allowed us down time at the house and play time in the snow!   Although Hannah doesn't want to get out and really touch the snow, she does enjoy sitting in the sled and zooming down the hill!  I love how cute she looks all bundled up in her snow suit!  Below you will see a picture of Seth all cozy and warm in his carseat while Hannah was sledding at the park.  Maggie (Grandma Clark) bought him the most adorable winter hat and I can't help but smile when I see him in it!

Seth all snuggled up while his sister sleds!  Seriously, look at him in that hat!

2 months-  Loves Daddy

Besides getting some fresh (cold!) air, here are a few new things with the kids...

Hannah:  She has discovered "Cubbie-Cubbies" (translation- teletubbies) and is asking to watch "dvds" and the videos often!  She also asks to play "Wii"  (as she moves her arms around like she is playing the video game) and wants the "i-touch" (Nate's I-pod touch!)  She continues to love technology :)  I crack up at her little language and the way she says words.  She says a lot of words very clearly, but often I feel like that Mom who knows what their kid is saying but other people don't!  Here are some other examples...
book- "poot",  monkey-  "mee-o",  piano-  "pe-o",  penguin-  "pop-pop-pop" (this  sound goes with her adorable "penguin walk" she made up),  turkey sound-  "gob-ee, gob-ee, gob-ee",  elmo-  "elma",  blankie-  "bobby",  color-  "co-be",  Maggie- "Gee"

Besides her developing language, she also loves reading her Bible Story book and has learned the names of David, Daniel, Jonah, Noah, and Jesus!  When she hears or says "Jesus" she folds her hands to pray and almost always wants to pray for "Papa"!  It is very sweet.  She likes to build blocks and then knock them down, loves her shoes, and likes to sniff Seth to see if he pooped.  I wonder where she learned that?!  : )

Seth:  already 2 months old, gives us lots of sweet coos and smiles,  continues to be laid back and a content little guy,  likes to look at lights, if you put him up on your shoulder he will lift his head off and try to look around,  has a bad cough that breaks my heart, loves his paci, and loves to be held

Hannah in her tutu that she got from Aunt Amy!  She asked to wear it this day!
