Being a Mom

I love being a mom!  For me, motherhood is my greatest privilege and responsibility, and brings me the most joy! Being a mom makes me appreciate Nate and I's moms as well.  We have wonderful examples of what a mom should be.  They absolutely love on Hannah and Seth as well, which is a major blessing.   Below are pictures from "Mother's Day"... it was a special day.

We went to Minnetrista (cultural center in Muncie).  The exhibits were not cool, but Hannah had fun running around!

 Minnetrista has beautiful flower gardens.  I love taking pictures of the kids, so it made me very happy to get some great pictures!

Hannah's 2nd Birthday

We had such a fantastic time celebrating Hannah's 2nd birthday!  She LOVED every minute of it.  We are so thankful for another great year with our little girl.  She continues to spread joy with her sweet spirit and fun loving personality!  Her middle name fits her perfectly!  We have so many people make nice comments to us about Hannah..like how "funny" , "sweet", "well-behaved" or "a neat kid" she is. They come from those who meet her in the nursery to those who know her well.  We feel so blessed and proud to have her as our daughter!

 On Hannah's actual birthday, we celebrated by going to the Muncie Children's Museum and opening up gifts at home!  We had a great day!

 We had Hannah's birthday party with family the following weekend.  The theme was "Puppies"...one of Hannah's favorite things!  She was so excited for her "puppy party"!

 Hannah LOVED singing Happy Birthday!  She has been singing it the past couple of weeks, but in her version she says "Happy CAKE to you" over and over. When we were finished singing to her, she said "Happy Cake again!"

All of Hannah's cousins from both sides were here to celebrate (8  kids under the age of 3.5)!  She loves playing with them!
